Our top 3 favourite moments:
1. Alison referring to the “violation” of sock animals
2. Hubert “chillaxin” at the studio
3. Listening to our distinct laughter on the radio
Thanks so much for listening and supporting us!!
Did you hear us on the raaaa-aadio?? Woop woop! Socklove career milestone for sure! Here are the animals Jaeny was talking about. Isnt she the best?
CYPRESS
Cypress is a superfan. She’s ready to go with her toque, flag and maple leaf tattoo (yes… its real). Braving the huge crowds to be front and centre at as many events as she possibly can, you can hear her woot wooting louder than anyone else. You can also hear her heckling the other teams; she has a bit of dirty beak. She may be one of those “crazy fans” but you can’t help but love her.
we’ll the podcast later today (once we figure out how to do it…)
Here is Jerome
Jerome the monkey, not to be confused with Jerome Iginla (Canadian Olympic Team Member) is a former Junior B Hockey Player whose dreams of making the NHL were dashed. He hasn’t quite gotten over it. In his time he was certainly a scrapper and has the teeth to show for it. With his love of the game, Jerome cannot wait for the puck to drop at the 2010 Gold Medal Game. Go Canada Go. And the question on everyone’s mind is, how did Jerome get tickets and we didn’t???

Socklove on the Radio!
We were interviewed by CBC Radio 88.1FM and its airing tomorrow. CBC is running an “unofficial olympic mascot” contest and wanted to talk to us about socklove, sock animals and running a hand-made business. We had a great time hanging out with Jaeny Baik and teaching her how to make her first sock monster!
Here is Jerome, who we gave to CBC.
Check it out tomorrow morning at around 7:20am, 88.1FM.
You can also stream the program live on the web.

Ted Moseby!
One of our very first and much loved owls has been working hard at his new job as a pharmacy technician. He is one smart cookie (and a teensy bit of a nerd). We’re glad Ted found such a good home.
Thanks Amanda!
oh my goodness!
This is one of the sweetest things we have ever seen! A cookie made to look like the infamous Imogene! Imogene is one of our all time favourites. We hear that people have been trying to buy her from her owner for as much as $60!
Indy, thanks so much for sending in this pic! xox
Burton the monkey, checking out the view in Montreal atop Mont Royal!
Those skates look a bit big for him but i guess he will figure it out.
Happy New Year Burton! and thanks for sending in your pic, Andrew!

Sockloves as stocking stuffers!
Thanks kaitlin for sending in your pics of sweet bonnie and hamilton.
we love your hat too!
New sockloves! The entire website is updated with new selections!
We wanted to make sure you knew about Adam and Bobby. They are best friends and get into all sorts of trouble together, as you can tell from the cheeky looks on their faces.
Enjoy the new crew!
